
Pierre Radanne created Futur Facteur 4 under the French EURL status, in September 2004. The company offers consulting, training, communication and research (research, technique, project implementation, economic analysis) services, concerning energy conservation, mitigation of global warming, and sustainable development.
In the past, Pierre Radanne has carried on the following functions: regional delegate of the French agency for the Environment, and Energy Conservation (1982-1986), General Director of the European Institute of Energy and Environmental Strategy Assessment from 1987 to 1997, Co-director of the secretary in the Environment and Land planning ministry (1997), President of the French Agency for the Environment and Energy Conservation (1998-2002) from 1998 to 2002, responsible for the prospective study framed by the Inter-ministerial mission on Green House Effect from 2003 to 2004, manager of Futur Facteur 4 since 2004. Pierre Radanne is often requested by the media or companies for conferences and awareness-raising.
The FF4 team is composed of Julie Gauthier, engineer hired in November 2006, and Astrid Tarruella hired in July 2008. High-level interns from Sciences Po Paris and Ecole Polytechnique Féminine are also a rotary part of the team.
